I love this picture of the intense gaming that went on in the family room.

Last night was our official "say goodbye to Heidi and William" night. A small group gathered at the DeHart's house in Agua Dulce for a BBQ. It really is bitter sweet to see them go. We're glad that they will be able to buy a house and be near Erin and Jim but we are soooo sad to have BOTH sisters and families so far away. The problem with living in this amazingly beautiful state is that it's pretty much impossible for a normal young couple to buy anything. A two bedroom condo goes for over 300,000 and that's if you're lucky. *sigh*
It will be interesting to see where the Lord leads us in the future. We are both open to moving but it would have to be really obvious that it was the right thing to do. We do feel good about staying in the L.A. area for now, but who knows.

Sigh...the reality of the real estate market is just horrendous. Best wishes to the De hart family

Hi Gretchen and Chris. Thank you for the wonderful pictures. Robin and I are so grateful to God that you sisters all love and support each other. That will make the future so much sweeter for all of us. Dad

Gretchen, just to encourage you: we have had a great experience moving to Oregon. It has been a relief to move to an area that is slower-paced and more reasonable in all ways. I'll keep all of these things in my prayers, especially your little bunchkin growing bigger and bigger by the minute! :)
