Here are some pictures of our trip to the Santa Ana zoo on Friday. We went with our neighbor Kathy and two of her boys Roman and Sabastian. They all had a great time although Anders fell at one point and scraped his face on the gravel. He pulled through pretty well. =0)

Lately Anders has been sticking out his tongue alot. I think that he is practicing a certain sound.

The off road jeep that was on display was a hit with all of the boys.

The best part of the day was the train ride around the farm animal area. The conductor was great and Anders kept looking up at me and making kissy faces to show his approval.

Cute pictures! I am so jealous of the zoo- going weather you have during January-- we are at a total loss for things to do (that are free, or almost) around here. It's so much fun to have KIDS (not babies) that we can take places and enjoy seeing them play or make new discoveries, isn't it?

Wonderful pictures! I especially love that last one, you both look so cute! :-) I could be happy with larger pictures, in fact!

Yes, I love that last picture too, plus all the others! It's so fun to have Anders growing up and showing his interest in different things! At Christmas it was great how he picked up a golf club and quite skillfully started nudging the golf ball like he's seen the men doing. He showed quite a bit of eye-hand coordination and interest! The zoo day looks like lots of fun. Thanks! Mom.

Wow, he is not a baby any more.

Has Anders found his first word yet? Anders sound practice reminded me of our friend's little girl named Amanda who speaks tons, yet, not with actual English words. Its so fun and fascinating to hear her speak volumes in baby gibberish.
