Today called for a hike in the local hills. Chris and I have been trying to do some more "active" activities and one of the things we have enjoyed lately is hiking. Here are some of my favorite pictures.
The left is a picture of a local monk who happened to be hiking with a friend. I tried not to be too obvious in my picture taking.

Shackelmom, yes Chris is back in the picture. It's been a bumpy road but I feel that God has been good to both of us in helping us to grow in the areas we have needed.
By the way I heard you have a new phone line? My mom was really excited about hearing your voice like it was next door. That's exciting!
Oh I am sure the monk is used to getting pictures taken by curious people. You should have had a close up shot :)
I miss the hills. Thanks for putting them up. The eucalyptus tree is nice too. One time I was with a brother up there and we found a deers hind. I still wonder what predator up there takes down a deer. Maybe a man with a gun and a coyote following up. Anyway, I didn't mean to go dark, but I always think of it when I hike up there.
